Bach & Friends

Holy Trinity Coventry, Lunchtime Concert, Saturday 7th September 2019

We are so grateful for the time and trouble you and Warwickshire Baroque took to bring us such a musical feast today. The recital was a perfect fit in length and content for our audience. The Handel was full of invention, the Bach totally engaging – what a master of harmonic and contrapuntal twists! The Telemann was full of character, wit and charm – the perfect piece to follow the Bach.

Please pass on our thanks and congratulations to Rosemary for her outstanding performance of the concerto. The extended, enthusiastic applause at the end told us all!

You may like to know that the audience numbered 65 and that we raised £245 for the Organ Appeal.

Candlelit Christmas Concert with Carols

We were delighted that Warwickshire Baroque wanted to come and play at St Leonard’s once again this year.  You gave us a marvellous evening. It really lifted our spirits.  The music was wonderful and the interaction with the ‘audience’ was great fun and hugely appreciated.  It helped us all feel that Christmas really is on the way.

Thank you so much – we hope that you will want to visit us again in 2017.

With our very best wishes to you and all the Orchestra for a Happy Christmas and a very good New Year,

David & Frances Wintle
